Theodore Anachuna Ezeobi was born on 11th February, 1939. He attended St. Micheael’s primary School, Awgbu from 1945 - 1949, St. Anthony’s Primary School Nanka (950) and St. Mary’s Practicing School Agulu (1951). In 1952 he gained admission to Government College Umuahia on government scholarship where he obtained the West African School Certificate in 1957. He gained admission to the University of Lagos in 1962 on Standard Bank of Nigeria Scholarship to study Law but was interrupted in 1965/1966 by the Nigerian Civil War. However he completed his studies at University of Nigerian Nsukka in 1966 and obtained an LLB (Hons) 2nd Class Lower.

It is interesting to note that he was in Biafran Law School from 1966-1967 and after the war graduated from the Nigerian Law School in 1970-1971.

He was Company Secretary of Standard Bank of Nigeria Ltd in 1972 and was assistance Legal Adviser from 1972-1979.

He set up his own practice under the firm name of Ezeobi and Company in 1982 and on 10th September 2001 he was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

Ezeobi who is marred to Iyom, Chief (Mrs.) Bernadette Nwadinume Exeobi is blessed with children. He is the founding President National Association of Catholic Students (Pax Romana) University of Lagos 1962-1964, Director Awgbu Community Bank, Chairman Nigerian Bar Association Lagos Branch 1993-1995, member Council of Legal Education 1987-1988 and member Otu Oka Iwu.

He appeared before the Permanent Court of Arbitration Peace Palace at the Hague, The Netherlands for the Taraba State Government of Nigeria in September 1996.

Finally, Exeobi is well known Supporter of the Old Boys Association and noted for his articulate, incisive and fearless contributions at meetings. It must be noted that he has been the legal Adviser Government College Umuahia Old Boy’s Association Lagos Branch till date and a previous G.C.U. O.B.A. National Merit Award Winner 1998. At Umuahia, he was a Coloured member of the School Hockey Team 1956-1957. Only last month he became a member of the prestigious Body of Benchers.
